New recycled polymers providing high performance and sustainability

A webinar with Matmatch to present the new Renycle® product range

Renycle®, the RadiciGroup brand identifying the new sustainable engineering polymers obtained from post-industrial and post-consumer recycled polyamide, lands on Matmatch, an online platform that helps designers and engineers search for the most suitable materials for their design needs: RadiciGroup High Performance Polymers experts talk about this topic on Wednesday 15 June, presenting the new line of products based on PA 6 and PA 66, ideal for sustainability projects.

Renycle® products are the result of a careful selection of incoming raw materials and an advanced mechanical characterization both from the point of view of mechanical, chemical, physical and electrical performance and in reference to the reduction of the environmental impact in comparison with products with 100% virgin polymer (LCA comparison).

Not only products but also services. A useful tool for designers is CAE, computer aided engineering or, in other words, numerical simulation assisted by software. CAE aims to virtually reproduce both the material moulding process and the mechanical, thermal or other kind of solicitations that the part will be subjected to under use conditions. Everything possible is done to predict the behaviour of the materials, right from the very early stages of product development. The goal is to optimize the design also take into account eco-design and environmental performance.
