RadiciGroup drives growth through innovation, sustainability and an expanding materials portfolio

2026年10月6日

At its first Fakuma as one organization, RadiciGroup highlights the complementary strengths of Technyl® and Radilon®, broadening its offering of solutions for electric mobility, Electrical & Electronics, medical and industrial applications.

At Fakuma 2026, RadiciGroup is showcasing its expanded organization for the first time as one unified global partner in engineered materials, bringing together under a single identity the complementary strengths of its former High Performance Polymers business and DOMO Engineered Materials. Visitors will find RadiciGroup across two exhibition stands (Hall A1, Booth 1104 and Hall B4, Booth 4216), both representing the same organization, now operating globally as RadiciGroup, with a strong focus on the Technyl® and Radilon® product families, now part of an even broader and more complementary portfolio.

One plus One. Merged for More. This is the message RadiciGroup brings to Fakuma, positioning integration as a key milestone in the Group’s growth journey. The combination creates a global platform that brings together application expertise, research and development capabilities, engineering services, and an industrial footprint spanning Europe, Asia and the Americas. This evolution is built on a simple principle: ensuring continuity and close customer relationships while creating greater opportunities for innovation and growth.

“Fakuma represents a very special moment for us because it is the first opportunity to present ourselves to the market as one organization,” says Jochen Fabritius, CEO of RadiciGroup. “We have brought together two highly complementary businesses to create an even stronger global platform in the field of engineered materials. Most importantly, however, we have preserved what matters most to us: our customer-centric approach. Customers can continue to rely on the quality, responsiveness and technical support they know, while gaining access to a broader portfolio, enhanced expertise and greater innovation capabilities. Our ambition is to be the partner of choice for advanced and sustainable material solutions, supporting customers as a true solution provider and helping them address the challenges associated with electrification, the energy transition and sustainability.”

RadiciGroup will continue to offer the full Technyl® and Radilon® product ranges, alongside its other established product families, to all customers worldwide. By bringing these complementary portfolios together under one organization, the Group now provides one of the most comprehensive offerings in engineering polymers, spanning standard and specialty polyamides, PBT, PPA, high-performance compounds, and sustainable solutions based on recycled and bio-based feedstocks. Fakuma provides the ideal platform to showcase concrete solutions supporting the key transformations reshaping global industry: electrification, lightweighting, digitalization and the circular economy.

One of the main focus areas is electric mobility, where RadiciGroup is presenting a comprehensive portfolio of advanced polyamides engineered to meet increasingly demanding requirements in terms of safety, electrical performance and high-temperature resistance, including orange-colored grades designed for high-voltage applications.
Among the solutions on display are materials from the Radilon®, Radiflam® Aestus, Technyl® Star and Technyl® One families.
Technyl® One, in particular, bridges the gap between PA and PPA, offering high processability and excellent performance in tests simulating the ability to prevent “thermal runaway” in battery system enclosures.
Applications on display will also highlight solutions designed to enhance the safety and efficiency of electric vehicles, including connectors and busbars, UV-stabilized components for outdoor charging systems, and battery module supports developed according to eco-design principles.

In the Electrical & Electronics market, RadiciGroup is showcasing solutions developed for advanced power distribution systems, where different materials are selected and optimized according to specific application requirements. Particular attention is being given to the Radiflam® HFL family, a new generation of halogen-free and red phosphorus-free flame-retardant polyamides that offer significant processing advantages, including substantially reduced mould deposits and a lower risk of electro-corrosion in metallic circuits. These benefits are particularly valued in both electric mobility and electrical and electronic applications.
Also featured are the latest developments within the PBT-based Radiflam® B and Raditer® B families, including new grades combining high hydrolysis resistance with CTI values ≥ 600 V, making them ideal for electrical components and connectors used in particularly demanding environments.

RadiciGroup is expanding its presence in the medical sector, leveraging its expertise in engineering polymers for structural components and applications that are not intended for direct contact with the human body or biological fluids. Alongside its established Technyl® solutions, the Group will introduce Technyl® Care, a new product family developed for applications requiring materials capable of successfully meeting the biocompatibility testing requirements of ISO 10993. This new portfolio further expands RadiciGroup’s offering for medical applications where reliability, performance and material safety are essential requirements.

Sustainability remains a central pillar of RadiciGroup’s growth strategy, now reinforced by an even broader and more complementary portfolio. At Fakuma, the Group will showcase new customer success stories developed in collaboration with its partners, demonstrating how the Technyl® 4earth® and Renycle® product ranges help reduce environmental impact while supporting the adoption of circular economy models and closed-loop solutions throughout the value chain.

“Sustainability is no longer linked to a specific application segment; it has become a design criterion that cuts across all the markets we serve,” comments Erico Spini, Global Marketing Application Development at RadiciGroup. “The use of recycled or renewable feedstocks is certainly an important lever, but it is not the only one. Metal replacement can also make a significant contribution to our customers’ environmental goals by reducing component weight, simplifying geometries and manufacturing processes, and leveraging the greater design freedom offered by engineering polymers. The integration of RadiciGroup and DOMO Engineered Materials further strengthens this approach,” Spini continues. “In addition to a broader portfolio, we can now draw on complementary expertise in design, process simulation, material science and application development. Replacing metal with polymer is not simply about switching materials; it requires rethinking the component and optimizing its overall performance. This is precisely the journey where we want to support our customers as a technology partner.”
