Radici Plastics INDIA PVT LTD is the indian company of the High Performance Polymers Business Unit of RadiciGroup, one of the world’s leading producers of a wide range of chemical intermediates, polyamide polymers, engineering plastics, synthetic fibres, with approximately 3,000 employees, and a network of production and sales sites located throughout Europe, North America, South America and Asia.

The International Sales Manager is responsible for leading and ensuring the growth of export markets, improving customer relationships, and identifying opportunities to increase the number of customers in the target area.

The candidate will work in Sales Function and will report directly to the Business Head of Radici Plastics India.

 

Responsabilities

 

  • effectively manage and improve relationships with existing key customers;
  • provide input for forecasting and development of annual sales targets;
  • projected sales volumes and projected profits for new and existing products;
  • meet long- and short-term sales budgets for volumes, profit margins and product mix;
  • follow up with SCM department for dispatch updates to communicate to customers;
  • proactively coordinate orders collections by following up with customers and Finance department;
  • cooperate with QA department by providing appropriate information on customers claims;
  • provide inputs to Marketing and R&D departments on creation of new products/ applications in line with customer’s expectations;
  • identify opportunities to increase customer base by proactively undertaking business development initiatives;
  • collect and provide market data to ensure that the organization is informed about market trends and is able to make decisions based on them;
  • improve technical product knowledge through regular training;
  • participate in team meetings and share learnings/experiences with colleagues;
  • collaborate with other departments for maximizing connect and efficiency and encourage open/ honest communication between colleagues.

 

Technical Knowledge

 

  • sales knowledge: experience in direct negotiation with customers
  • math skills in order to calculate margins, commissions, preparing formula-price and costing
  • knowledge/experience of/in the market, preferably the plastic sector
  • knowledge of CRM Module/Siebel and SAP are considered a plus
  • knowledge of Windows programs: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint

 

Job requirements

 

  • B Tech Polymer/Chemical degree/ Bachelor’s degree in Business/ Technical;
  • MBA is considered a plus – Sales and Marketing ;
  • minimum 5-8 years of experience in the sector;
  • at least 3 years of experience in similar roles;
  • experience in Engineering Plastic applications and Industrial markets;
  • english written and spoken is required for ordinary communication with the Global team;
  • various travel schedules and different time zones.
